Arkansas Christmas Tree Growers Association

Arkansas Forestry Commission - The Arkansas Forestry Commission was created to protect and develop Arkansas' forest resource. The AFC works closely with the University of Arkansas System, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Arkansas landowners to achieve these goals by preventing and suppressing wildfires, monitoring and promoting forest health, encouraging reforestation and forest resource stewardship, and gathering and disseminating forest resource information. The Commission sells thousands of seedlings every year to industry and landowners and offer technical advice to landowners interested in managing their forest land.

EPA is the Environmental Protection Agency, a vast resource on many environmental topics.

LSU Agriculture Center's Organic Recycling Program offers training for operators of composting operations and is a source for research and composting information.
