Conduct a waste assessment or waste audit (PDF)

Find a market.

Check yellow pages for recycling collectors and brokers

Contact solid waste or public works departments. - In Arkansas visit the Department of Environmental Quality Web Site

Set goals

For a detailed guide - see the EPA's "How to Start or Expand a Recycling Collection Program" (PDF)

Your business may want to consider joining EPA's Waste Wise Program or call 1-800-EPA-WISE
